I ran a contest and got 168 suggestions from 14 different people \u2013 pretty good for $35.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>2. DOMAIN REGISTRATION &amp; HOSTING FOR ACCOUNT<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><strong>choose suitable domain name and hosting provider.<\/strong><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>ICANN verification:\u00a0<\/strong>Required within 15 days of purchasing the domain or your domain may be suspended. Simply, verify your registered email address by clicking the link in the ICANN verification email you automatically receive from your registrar.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Support:<\/strong>Contact your domain registrar or hosting company to resolve any issues experienced during this set up process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>3. INSTALL WORDPRESS<\/h2>\n<p>Login into your \u00a0hosting account whatever it is and take these steps to install WordPress:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Steps To Follow<\/li>\n<li>Click on your domain name to open up the cpanel (control panel)<\/li>\n<li>Scroll down the page to the \u201cCGI Scripts\u201d section. Click on the\u00a0<strong>Install WordPress<\/strong>logo and wait for the new page to load.<\/li>\n<li>Create a WordPress account and click \u201cInstall WordPress\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>Log into WordPress using the username and password created in the previous step.<\/li>\n<li>You will now have access the the WordPress Dashboard. This is the backend of your website where you can edit your site and add content.<\/li>\n<li>To see what you site looks like click on your domain name at the top of the dashboard and then \u201cvisit site\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>4. ADD PAGES \/ POSTS<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Add Pages:<\/strong>Click Pages &gt; Add New in the sidebar of your WordPress Dashboard. Click \u201cchange permalinks\u201d and select \u201cpost name\u201d to set the url by default to the post\u00a0title.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Set up these 2 pages to get started: \u201c\/about\u201d + \u201c\/thank-you\u201d.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Add Menus:\u00a0<\/strong>Click Appearance &gt; Menus &gt; create a new menu. Select created pages and click \u201cadd to menu\u201d. Select new menu as your \u201cprimary menu\u201d.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Add Posts:\u00a0<\/strong>Click Posts &gt; Add New (the same process as creating new pages).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>5. INSTALL GOOGLE ANALYTICS FOR WORDPRESS<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Install Plugin<\/strong>: \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/plugins\/google-analytics-for-wordpress\/\">Monster Insights for Google Analytics<\/a>\u201d. Easy to use &amp; free.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Login into\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/analytics.google.com\/\">Google Analytics<\/a><strong>.<\/strong>Go to Admin&gt; Create a New Property to generate a tracking id for your new website.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Add tracking id to website<\/strong>. click \u201cauthenticate with Google\u201d inside the plugin to start collecting data from your website.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Filter Internal Traffic<\/strong>so you don\u2019t skew your data: Click admin&gt; filters&gt;add filter&gt;predefined filter&gt; exclude traffic from IP address.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Enable Demographics Reports:<\/strong>Collect age, demographics and interest data so you can understand you audience better.
